Mohammad Momand is from the northern part of Afghanistan, located in the mountains. He studied and worked in the agriculture sector.

Mohammad graduated in 2009 at the agricultural faculty and worked since then for diffenrent international companies. In Afghanistan all kinds of fruits and vegetables are growing, but the security situation is affecting the agricultural sector.

There is war for about 35 years, after the Taliban, there was the war against Daesh, the so called islamic state. Mohammad was threatened various times, he got a letter to leave his job and to work for the islamic state.

In the end he and his brother decided to leave Afghanistan, first to Iran and then he came through Turkey and the Balkan route to German.
