A special playlist - A show dedicated or rather from the eyes and ears of the ages between 8 and 13, a time that we all have lived through at some point in our lives. To loop in, here's what the generations of the current times listen to .. connecting generations on radio.

A show beginning from spontaneous times, where we all finally get to be in the shoes we all once were in - in this age between the years of 6 or 8, to about 12, just before teenhood. Whoever has not been through these times, however may not get the drift of things, but the rest all definitely do.

Times from before may have had you embarrased for the type of music tastes from your early past, but do these continue to haunt you, or do they come across as funny and a dear acknowledgement of how you and me once saw the world.. ?

Personally, have been chided by peers for liking songs of Britney Spears. Not many however know the reason for this was also the fact that at this time, she was having Michael Jackson's choreographer doing her dance videos. Hiding behind this excuse, it was at some point, quite embarrassing and tough to speak one's mind about the kind of music we liked, out of fear of being shamed by our peers.

But these parts never mattered as life moved on, till this show at wueste welle, on the Newcomer News live hours. Armed with a playlest she believes in, like many of us did too, at some earlier point in our lives, melodies and grooves ranged from rap, to soul to country from the more recent times. Not wanting to reveal her identity however, the girl who was the guest, did tell us that her name begins with A and ends with A. And that she has a grandma who is a showbiz person, an entertainer.

Understanding the anonymous child in this radio show just from the age group, also got us the required tolerance for the music that played. Children often help our tolerances to remain strong - a strenght we live with forever. Navigating hence through the informationn these age groups have about the music they listen to, is also worth knowing about where most of the information is not really from google, but from what friends feel about this song - a huge point to consider. How expletives or 'bad language' is understood in lyric as art, somehow helps understand how minds percieve aggression and violence in lyrics of the current times and how the children treat these songs or possibly can, without becoming them blindly.

Having heard podcasts from other girls, on affairs and topics close to hearts of such age groups, our 'subtly little' guest then decides to have her own podcast bit on the radio - the thema being 'make-up'. Yes, it would be nice if a pre teen herself spoke about how make-up is seen as glamourous but can be best kept at one's natural status, with natural therapies. The thumbs down on buying and consumerism from our guest is also something we can be proud of, if we are able to keep this direction going.

Many thanks to our guest and playlists of her type to get us all an insight into the listeners on more current times, lets say. From generation to generation and song to song, till we said it all, and then again thought suddenly, that we have so much more to say, this conversation may remind us and rekindle this self of ours when we were little, and we all were, if not still are, little. Undoubtedly ! Tune in, to get a little closer to being little :)
