Laila Alhusini is an award-winning American journalist of Syrian descent, who immigrated to the United States in 2001. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 1989, MBA degree in 2012, currently pursuing a Master in online journalism and Mass Communication, and has more than 15 years of experience in print and broadcast journalism..

As the host of three US Arab Radio programs, Alhusini continues to interview national and international  politics leaders as well as business and academic guests, with a mandate to unify Arab and American communities and their diverse audiences. Alhusini was the recipient of the Arab American Business Woman Award of the year 2015 from Arab American Women's Business Council.  She also received the YMCA Western Wayne County Women of Achievement Award in Communication/Arts (2011).
